KABUL – Foreign Minister Zarar Ahmad Osmani met with the Canadian Ambassador to Kabul Deborah Lyons.
Both sides talked and exchanged views on different issues of interest. The Foreign Minister welcomed the ambassador and talked about friendly relations between the two countries. The Foreign Minister said: “Relations between Afghanistan and Canada are very important for us. Canada is a country that has cooperated with Afghanistan during the past decade in security, developmental, and infrastructural areas; and the Afghan people really appreciate it”.
Emphasizing relations and cooperation between the two countries, Canadian Ambassador said that relations with Afghanistan are very valuable and important for them. Ambassador Lyons added that a main part of their contributions and cooperation with Afghanistan would be on economic developments because it would help Afghanistan become self sufficient.
