A high-level delegation of the Republic of Türkiye led by Mr. Attila Toros, the Head Of Migration Management, called on IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
At the outset, appreciating the humanitarian assistance of Türkiye, FM Muttaqi focused in-depth on the issue of migration phenomenon, the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in regards to the management of irregular migration, countering the activities of mafia circles.
Acknowledging the existing security situation in Afghanistan, Mr. Attila Toros said that the Afghans are facing many challenges and life-threatening problems due to irregular migration, emphasizing that there remains need for paving ways legal migration.
Fm Muttaqi asked the Turkish side to ensure facilitation in visas issuance process to Afghans so as that Afghans can legally travel.
The meeting also held comprehensive discussions strengthening economic & trade relations between the two countries, developing the private sector & the existing investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
