Today Iranian Ambassador to Kabul Bahadur Aminian called on Afghan Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi to discuss the condition of Afghan refugees, prisoners, narcotics, addicts & bilateral cooperation.

the Iranian ambassador welcomed the decree by the IEA Supreme Leader to ban the cultivation of narcotics, adding that Iran was ready to cooperate in creating alternative livelihoods for Afghan farmers. Minister Muttaqi expressed satisfaction over positive relations with Iran & progress, assuring further cooperation thereon. To end, it was agreed that a bilateral delegation should visit the two countries to follow up on the said issues.
