IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi held a telecon with Mr. Yermek Kusherbayev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During this discussion, the two sides focused on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding economic cooperation, & recent regional developments.
FM Muttaqi said that IEA places great importance to diplomacy, understanding, & mutual respect in regional affairs. He stressed that the Islamic Emirate seeks to maintain relations with its neighbors & regional partners based on non-interference, mutual respect, & constructive engagement.
He added that positive engagement with regional countries such as Kazakhstan shows the Islamic Emirate’s support for stability, economic progress, & regional understanding.
Appreciating Afghanistan’s constructive positions & the ongoing efforts for peace and stability in the region, Kazakh Foreign Minister praised the Islamic Emirate’s position & reiterated that regional stability & prosperity are the shared responsibility of all countries, to be achieved through mutual trust, economic cooperation, & sustained understanding.
