Wishing the Ambassador success on his new mission, FM Muttaqi noted that Japan is among the world’s developed nations, & that Afghanistan & Japan share historic ties, hence, the Islamic Emirate is keen to maintain broad & positive political & economic relations with Japan.
Commending Afghanistan’s nationwide security, its efforts against narcotics, & progress in various areas, Mr. Kenichi said that during his tenure, he will work to strengthen bilateral relations & enhance cooperation with Afghanistan across multiple sectors.
