The discussions focused on bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Oman, as well as on the expansion of trade, transit, and transportation cooperation between the two countries.Describing his recent visit to the Sultanate of Oman as productive, FM Muttaqi noted that the recent exchange of delegations between the two sides has been important for expanding cooperation in various domains.
Also, FM Muttaqi extended an invitation to his Omani counterpart to visit Kabul at his convenience, calling high-level consultations between the two countries as beneficial.
Later, the Omani Foreign Minister also called the exchange of delegations important for strengthening cooperation, adding that a technical delegation from Oman’s civil aviation sector will travel to Kabul in the near future.In the end, Mr. Al Busaidi expressed readiness to visit Kabul at his convenience, hoping that useful discussions on expanding bilateral cooperation would take place during the visit.
