The Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Dr. Murdif Al-Qashouti called on IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Afghanistan & Qatar, as well as several other regional issues.Expressing satisfaction over the cessation of the ongoing conflict in the region, FM Muttaqi expressed hope for a permanent end to the war. Additionally, he once again conveyed his sympathy to the government and people of Qatar over the recent attacks.
Later, the Qatari Ambassador reaffirmed Qatar’s continued engagement with Afghanistan, provided the latest updates regarding the regional situation, and shared Qatar’s position on the matter.
