IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Bangladesh Parliament Speaker Hafizuddin Ahmed in Tehran.
The meeting focused on enhanced bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, with particular emphasis on enhancing trade and economic cooperation.FM Muttaqi called the trade potential between the two countries significant, and stressed the importance of utilizing these opportunities to promote economic growth in both countries.
The Speaker of the Bangladesh Parliament noted that relations between the two countries have a long history and said that strengthening trade exchanges, alongside Afghanistan’s economic reconstruction, presents a valuable opportunity for both sides.
