The fourth meeting of the Joint Committee between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India was held at the Ministry of External Affairs of India. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Shoaib Baryalai, Director-General 1st Political Division at IEA-Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Anand Prakash, Head of the Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran Division at India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
The meeting focused on in-depth discussions regarding bilateral political and economic cooperation on visa issuance, trade-related challenges, and strengthening exports and imports.
