Providing Consular Services to Citizens Abroad is their Fundamental Right.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is engaged with the Western countries utilising the diplomatic channels to facilitate the provision of consular services to Afghan nationals residing abroad, ensuring their access to their rightful entitlements.
As stipulated in the Vienna Convention, consular services are not bound to official recognition.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that conflating consular affairs with political issues not only creates problems but also infringes on the rights of citizens.
We will continue our discussions and efforts with the relevant countries to initiate consular services in a manner that is acceptable for all sides and aligned with established principles .
