The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Luka Shchavich, met with IEA-Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Al-haj Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanekzai.
The meeting underscored on shared economic & political interests, as well as opportunities for mutual cooperation between Afghanistan & Belarus.
Calling the visit of his Belarusian counterpart to Kabul a crucial step forward towards strengthening bilateral relations, DFM Stanekzai said that it is a good beginning for fostering long-term cooperation.
Mr. Shchavich expressed his government’s positive intention to establishing cooperation with Afghanistan across various sectors.
In the end, the two sides agreed to continue discussions through technical teams based in Kabul & Minsk to further enhance & expand areas of cooperation.
