IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, met with the Minister of Commerce, Industry, & Investment of the Sultanate of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, in Muscat.
The meeting encompassed bilateral trade, investment, & transit cooperation.
The two sides exchanged views on enhancing exports & imports, promoting agricultural cooperation, & ensuring food security, alongside broader trade & transport engagements. Additionally, the two sides agreed to facilitate exchanges between trade delegations & the private sectors of the two countries,
In the end, both sides agreed that joint working groups & sectoral institutions would initiate technical discussions on the identified areas of cooperation.
