Minister Muttaqi asked about the health of Turkish President H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish First Lady that have tested positive with Coronavirus, conveying the IEA leadership message of sympathy, wishing them swift recovery.
Minister Muttaqi expressed gratitude for the 750-ton food and winter items package that was reached by railway to Torghundi port on February 7, 2022. Mr. Çavuşoğlu assured that 500-700 tons more aid would reach Afghanistan by the end of February and that the series of aids by the Turkish Red Crescent and other charity organizations would continue.
Mr. Çavuşoğlu announced the resumption of visa services in Kabul, pledging that the Turkish consular services would also resume in Mazar-e-Sharif in March 2022.
Mr. Çavuşoğlu welcomed the positive measures taken by the new government, expressing delight over the opening of universities.
