The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with the Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation Mrs. Lolwah R M Al-Khater.

At the outset, expressing gratitude for Qatar’s ever hosting, FM Muttaqi said that Qatar has always prioritized promoting friendly relations with Afghanistan.

FM Muttaqi has provided her detailed information regarding the current situation of Afghanistan and urged her to provide assistance in the treatment of children with heart problems, providing reformed agricultural seeds, training diplomats and constructing sports stadiums for athletes.

Expressing thanks to FM Muttaqi for visiting Qatar, Mrs. Lolwah R M Al-Khater said that we value the relations with Afghanistan, adding that the recent visit of the Prime Minister of Qatar to Afghanistan is a clear indication of the enhanced relations.

Adding further, fortunately, Qatar Charity Organisation has started providing assistance to Afghans in different areas. We remain committed to providing assistance to Afghanistan’s health sector, education, agriculture, sports , and so on.
We are working on establishing a mechanism to start these projects as soon as possible in coordination with the Afghan government.

Later, the Afghan Amb. in Qatar, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Wardag, underscored some issues related to the embassy, ​​for which Mrs. Lolwah R M Al-Khater provided him assurance of full cooperation thereof.
