Passport

The Deputy of Passport at the Directorate of consular affairs provides two types of passports (service and special) within the country, and abroad, it offers issuance/extension services for ordinary passports through diplomatic and consular missions.
Service and special passports are issued to government officials under specific conditions in accordance with the Passport Law.
Based on Articles 12 and 14 of the Passport Law, an ordinary passport is issued to every Afghan citizen.
