Calling the relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan historic, DFM Naeem noted that there are significant opportunities for economic cooperation, emphasizing the need to enhance transit facilities and expand trade for the shared benefit of both nations.
Appreciating Dr. Naeem’s active role in the Termez conference, Mr. Ovibek considered it a positive step toward deepening bilateral engagement. He also outlined Uzbekistan’s initiatives related to the Trans-Afghan project and other domains of cooperation.
