The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan vehemently condemns the Israeli regime’s recognition of the so-called region of “Somaliland” as an independent state, separate from the Federal Republic of Somalia.In contravention to all international laws, the action constitutes an attempt to divide an Islamic country & undermine the sovereignty & territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, which may to negative consequences for peace & stability in the region.IEA-MoFA reiterates that actions of such nature hold no legitimacy & legal basis under international norms.
