Today, the Deputy of the Council of Ministers & Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Mr. Raşit Meredow accepted Mr. Haji Fazal Mohammad Sabir as the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Turkmenistan.
During a ceremony, FM Meredow said that Turkmenistan & Afghanistan are planning to implement major projects, hence, upgrading the level of diplomatic relations is a necessary initiative.
The Turkmen Foreign Minister expressed hope that with the joint diplomatic efforts, practical initiation of the extension of TAPI Pipeline, the construction of TOP Electricity & Railway line between Turgundi-Herat projects will soon take place.
