Today, Mr. Tadamichi Yamamoto, Former Head of UNAMA, accompanied by the Executive Director of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, Mr. Itsu Adachi, called on IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir khan Muttaqi.
The meeting centered on a several important matters including all-round cooperation.
Stressing on in-depth cooperation of the international community with Afghanistan, Mr. Yamamoto extended an official invitation to the delegation of Afghanistan to pay a visit to Japan aiming at bolstering bilateral cooperation between the two countries & heard the insights of the FM Muttaqi into the Third UN-led Doha meeting.
Voicing gratitude to Japan for its assistance & cooperation with Afghanistan, FM Muttaqi provided assurance regarding the visit of IEA-delegation to Japan.
Viewing the Third UN-led Doha meeting positive, FM Muttaqi underscored the IEA’s foreign policy of maintaining positive relations with the countries of the world based on IEA-balanced foreign policy, calling every positive change & political development about Afghanistan an effective initiative.
