Polish Envoy Calls on Afghan Foreign Minister

The Special Envoy of the Republic of Poland for Afghanistan, Mr. Witold Sobków, called on the IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

The meeting focused on political and economic cooperation, various regional issues, and the challenges faced by Afghan refugees in Europe, particularly in Poland.
Underscoring the importance of enhancing the level of engagement between the foreign ministries of Afghanistan and Poland to strengthen bilateral relations, FM Muttaqi reiterated that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, by adopting a balanced and economy-centric foreign policy, seeks to expand its relations with the international community. He noted that Poland, like other countries, could benefit from the investment opportunities now available in various sectors across Afghanistan.

Commending the achievements of the Islamic Emirate in ensuring nationwide security and combating corruption, the Polish Special Envoy stated that his country is exploring avenues for economic investment in Afghanistan, while also stressing the importance of addressing the challenges faced by Afghan refugees.
