Recently, certain media outlets have circulated reports suggesting that the Islamic Emirate has decided to require dual-national Afghans residing abroad to obtain an Afghan visa when travelling to their homeland. In reality, no such decision has been made.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that Afghans wishing to travel to Afghanistan using a foreign passport are not required to obtain a visa, provided they present proof of their Afghan identity, as per established practice. Such individuals may continue to travel to Afghanistan without a visa.
