Pursuant to special directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan & following sustained efforts by the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Baku, fourteen Afghan nationals have been released upon the order of the leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Also, IEA-MoFA extends its appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan & the relevant authorities for their cooperation & humanitarian consideration, meanwhile, it reaffirms its commitment to continue pursuing & resolving the cases of Afghan detainees.
