Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul and handed him an unequivocal letter of protest over the attempted crossing of disruptive armed elements from the Durand Line in the direction of Nuristan.
On 13 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH, elements of evil and corruption and Daesh instigators attempted to cross the Durand Line towards Kamdesh District of Nuristan, acting with the direct assistance and guidance of the Pakistani military regime, with the intent of carrying out destructive activities in the area.
However, praise be to Allah, the security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, through the assistance of Allah Almighty, thwarted the attempt and prevented them from executing their plans.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan vehemently condemns the facilitation by the Pakistani military regime of centers, within the territories under its control, for the recruitment, organization, training, and equipping of disruptive elements, and for subsequently directing and deploying them across the Durand Line under the Pakistani military’s direct guidance.
These actions of the Pakistani military regime constitute a blatant infringement of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and stand in flagrant contravention of Islamic, international, humanitarian, and neighborly principles.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan warns that any continuation of such irresponsible and ill-considered actions, together with responsibility for their adverse consequences, will rest and entirely with the Pakistani military regime.
