At the outset, welcoming the guest, FM Muttaqi said that I am happy to have you here observing the situation of Afghanistan from near and in realistic way, adding that it must have been clear to you that the situation in Afghanistan is much different to how it is shown and talked about on the media.
In this meeting, Mr. Muttaqi also held discussion about the provision of consular services and the other facilities in order to address the problems of Afghans in Vienna.
Later, the members of the Freedom Party of Austria deemed the situation of Afghanistan much better than what they had heard from the media.
Adding further, they said that we have talked to some of Afghans about the current situation of Kabul. As a result of talking with them, it has become clear to us that Afghans are happy with the current situation and feeling safe and secure.
Mr. Yohannes, one of the members of the Freedom Party, said that I regret to say that the current government of Afghanistan, having ensured overall security and putting an end to four decades of conflict of Afghanistan, has not been recognized yet.
At the end, the members of the Freedom Party stressed and promised that they will portray the real picture of the current situation of Afghanistan to Europe and share it with their officials, people and the member countries of the European Union.
