The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, convened a trilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wang Yi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Ishaq Dar.
During meeting, the three foreign ministers held discussions on the forthcoming sixth round of the Afghanistan-China-Pakistan Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue.
Underscoring the significance of political and economic engagement between Afghanistan and its two neighboring countries, FM Muttaqi conveyed optimism regarding further advancements in these domains.
The Foreign Ministers of China and Pakistan reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Afghanistan on the principles of good neighborliness and mutual respect.
In the end, the three sides reached a consensus on boosting regional trade and advancing facilitative measures in the area of transit cooperation.
