IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Mr. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye on the sidelines of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of OIC held in Istanbul.
The two sides engaged in discussions on bilateral relations and regional developments.
At the outset, underscoring the special significance of Türkiye in the foreign policy of the Islamic Emirate, FM Muttaqi expressed the view that with enhancing bilateral relations, cooperation between the two countries should be further strengthened.
Later, reaffirming the importance Türkiye attaches to its relations with Afghanistan, FM Fidam emphasized the need to further develop cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
