SG-Muslim World League Calls on Foreign Minister

The Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, during his visit to Kabul.
The meeting focused on in-depth discussions on recent developments in Afghanistan, the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and the challenges it faces.
At the outset, FM Muttaqi highlighted the general amnesty declared by the Supreme Leader at the time of victory, the consolidation of security and stability, and the reforms implemented in religious and spiritual fields as among the notable achievements of the Islamic Emirate.

Underscoring Afghanistan’s close relations with the Islamic world in various sectors, FM Muttaqi noted the crucial role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in strengthening unity among Muslim nations and stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation within the Islamic Ummah.
Later, commending Afghanistan’s recent progress, particularly the general amnesty announced by Supreme Leader, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa described it as a distinct manifestation of the holy religion of Islam.

He further regarded Afghanistan as a country of unique importance within the Islamic world and considered regular communication and meetings between the Islamic Emirate and the Muslim World League, as well as the participation of IEA representatives in such gatherings, to be essential.
In conclusion, both sides stressed the importance of enhancing such meetings and exchanges in the future.
