The newly appointed Deputy Head of UNAMA & Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Bruno Lemarquis paid a courtesy call on IEA-Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
During the meeting, Mr. Lemarquis shared his views on improving the delivery & effective management of humanitarian assistance.FM Muttaqi underscored that alongside the continued need for humanitarian assistance, the implementation of development & infrastructure projects is of vital importance, adding that the Islamic Emirate will continue its necessary cooperation with the United Nations thereof.
Appreciating FM Muttaqi, Mr. Bruno Lemarquis pledged to make every effort to fulfill his assigned responsibilities. He also stressed on the importance of enhanced engagement & expanding cooperation across various fields.
