Welcoming the guests, FM Muttaqi elaborated exhaustively on the existing situation of Afghanistan, the recent developments and the independent foreign economy-centric policy of IEA.
FM Muttaqi said that foreign policy of Afghanistan is based on religious and national interests and is not influenced by anyone, meanwhile, FM Muttaqi called the establishment of a central government, ensuring overall security after the conflicts of four decades, strengthening of national unity, eliminating of prejudices and narcotics and smuggling, the greatest achievements of the Islamic Emirate.Calling Iran a good neighbor of Afghanistan, and referring to the recent visit to Tehran and Mashhad, FM Muttaqi said that the bilateral relations of the two countries are getting strengthened and enhanced, which indicates a bright future for the two countries.Adding further, FM Muttaqi highlighted on the geographical importance of the country, plan of Wakhan Corridor transit development and turning Afghanistan into a hub of connectivity between the region and the world and shared interests of the two countries.Posing questions, the Iranian delegation unanimously evaluated their visit to Afghanistan positively and expressed gratitude to the Afghan government for its hospitality and special attention.
To add, they said that upon coming to Afghanistan, they captured a positive image and impressions of the current situation and progress made, which will be shared with the people of Iran and the international community through their writings and media channels.
