Today, Humanitarian aid assisted by Uzbekistan arrived at Mazar-e-Sharif through Hairatan port where it was delivered in a special event by Special Representative of President of Uzbekistan Mr. Ismatilla Irgashev to IEA Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai

accompanying delegation.

In the event, Mr. Irgashev said they were seeking to extend the railway up to Torkham, turning Afghanistan into a transit hub.
