A technical delegation from various line ministries of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, comprising representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Public Health, Agriculture & Livestock, Commerce & Industry, Finance, Economy, as well as Da Afghanistan Bank, travelled to Qatar to participate in UN-convened working group meeting on counter-narcotics & private sector support.
The delegation is scheduled to engage in in-depth discussions with the representatives of different countries & international organisations on issues pertinent to narcotics prevention & control, alternative livelihoods, rehabilitation of drug addicts, & expansion of potential cooperation in the areas of private sector development & banking.
