Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Mammadov called on IEA-Deputy Foreign Minister for Finance & Administrative Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Naeem.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral political, economic, & cultural exchanges between Afghanistan & Azerbaijan.
Appreciating Azerbaijan’s support & Afghanistan’s participation in the “COP 29” conference, Dr. Naeem called the bilateral relations between important & conveyed a strong desire to further strengthen them
Mr. Mammadov highlighted the progress in bilateral cooperation & reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to its relations with Afghanistan, noting that Azerbaijan places great importance on its relations with Afghanistan, as reflected in the opening of its embassy in Kabul & accepting IEA’s diplomats in Azerbaijan.
To end the meeting, Ambassador Mammadov conveyed his appreciation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ steadfast support, while both sides reaffirmed their commitment to working jointly to further enhance bilateral relations.
