Today, IEA-Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, accompanying a delegation, visited Doha to convey, on behalf of the Leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, condolences to the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Amir of the State of Qatar.
During the visit, FM Muttaqi also met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Defence; and Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and expressed condolences on the demise of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
