The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the Government and brotherly people of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as well as to the bereaved families of the victims, over the tragic loss of life, injuries, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of families caused by the successive torrential rains, devastating floods, and landslides that have affected the southeastern regions of the country and the capital, Dhaka.
IEA-MoFA wishes the injured a swift and complete recovery and expresses its hope for the early restoration of normal living conditions for the displaced families.
