The meeting underlined bilateral political, economic and cultural cooperation between Afghanistan and China including the recent regional developments.Commending the development of political, economic & cultural relations between the two countries, FM Muttaqi said that IEA has created conducive environment for trade & investment, adding further FM Muttaqi said that the increase in the export of pine nuts & pomegranates to the People’s Republic of China, and investment in the Aynak Copper Project & Wakhan Corridor, including in several other areas, are the crystal clear examples of policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.Calling the progress made in various sectors with Afghanistan positive & stable, the PRC-Amb. Mr. Xing said that he is trying to encourage more Chinese businessmen and investors to play their role in the economic sector, aiming at holding long-term economic cooperation with Afghanistan; additionally, Mr. Xing said that they are considering the ways and possibilities of bilateral cooperation in issue regarding Wakhan Corridor & trying to work with synergy in close cooperation with the Afghan government thereof.In the end, FM Muttaqi highlighted that recent incidents and developments in the region arises the need for Afg-China to continue their cooperation with full coordination so as the both countries can protect their shared interests in a good way.
