MoFA Summons Chargé dAffaires of Pakistan’s Embassy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul and conveyed its strong and firm protest regarding the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace and the bombing of the homes of innocent civilians.

Last night, on 9th June 2026, the Pakistani military regime once again flagrantly violated Afghanistan’s airspace and bombed civilian homes in certain areas of Khost, Paktika, and Kunar provinces. As a result, 11 children, one woman, and one elderly man were martyred, while 14 other civilians, including women and children, were injured.

The Islamic Emirate deems this as an aggression and humanitarian crime a clear violation of international principles and laws, vehemently condemns it, and once again reiterates that defending its territory and ensuring the security of its people are its religious responsibility.

The Pakistani side should understand that, instead of pursuing proxy policies, rather it should seek fundamental solutions to its internal problems. How can the killing of children and women in one land be regarded as a means of ensuring security in another?
Once again, we state explicitly that the responsibility for all consequences arising from these repeated provocative actions and crimes will rest with the Pakistani military.
