Upon his arrival in Islamabad to attend the OIC Conference, Muttaqi met separately with his Pakistani counterpart and representatives of a number of other countries.Mr. Muttaqi called the special meeting hosted by Pakistan and co-sponsored by Saudi Arabia a good step towards Afghanistan and commended their efforts. He hoped that the meeting would prove effective in resolving Afghanistan’s political and humanitarian problems.
