Today, IEA Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Ambassadors & representatives from Central Asian countries.

The meeting was attended by Uzbek & Kazakh Ambassadors to Kabul as well as representatives from Turkmenistan & Kyrgyzstan.Minister Muttaqi highlighted the ties, trade & economic connectivity between Afghanistan & CA, stressing that new opportunities should be used for the benefit of the whole region.

The ambassadors of CA states stressed the need for cooperation & collaboration with Afghanistan in the fields of trade, transit, railways & energy transit through Afghanistan.

To end, views were exchanged on specific issues, pledging for joint efforts with pragmatic measures toward a prosperous region.
