Two British nationals, Peter & Barbara Reynolds, who had violated the laws of Afghanistan, were released today following judicial proceedings.
It is worth noting that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan does not view issues related to citizens from a political or transactional perspective.
It is hoped that matters concerning citizens, particularly the provision of consular services, will be ensured without political considerations, & that Afghans, wherever they may be, will also have access to such services.
