The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan expresses its deep sorrow to the People’s Republic of China & the Republic of Tajikistan regarding the tragic killing of three Chinese nationals in the Shamsuddin Shohin district of Tajikistan’s Khatlon Province, & strongly condemns the incident.
Based on initial assessments information from the relevant authorities of the Islamic Emirate, the elements involved in this attack are those seeking to create disorder, instability, & mistrust among the countries of the region.
The Government of Afghanistan assures the Government of Tajikistan of its full cooperation and stands ready for information-sharing, technical collaboration, & joint assessments in order to identify those responsible for the incident.Once again, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan conveys its condolences & sympathies to the families of the victims.
