The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Afghanistan, Dmitry Zhirnov called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed enhanced bilateral relations between Afghanistan & the Russian Federation, shared interests, & ways to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Likewise, views were also exchanged on the regional situation, with both sides emphasizing that sustained relations between Afghanistan & the Russian Federation, in light of ongoing regional developments, are in the interests of both countries.
The two sides also discussed future cooperation & stressed the importance of further expanding bilateral relations.
