A delegation comprised of Bangladeshi scholars, businessmen, and industrialists called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
Expressing confidence in the investment and trade opportunities available in the country, FM Muttaqi underscored the importance of strengthening political, economic, and cultural exchanges between the two countries thereof.
The Bangladeshi delegation acknowledged the secure situation of Afghanistan, and expressed hope regarding the opportunities existing. Additionally, they said that relations between the two countries could be further expanded through constructive engagement between the peoples and governments of the two countries.
During meeting, it was hoped that such meetings and exchanges would play an effective role in expanding bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
