The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul and delivered a protest note concerning the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace by the Pakistani military and the airstrikes carried out against civilian areas and facilities in Kunar and Paktika provinces.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan deems these actions as a clear violation of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and strongly condemns them.
The Islamic Emirate once again categorically rejects the allegations that the recent security incidents in Pakistan originated from Afghan territory.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan maintains that raising such unfounded allegations and using them as a basis for justifying military action constitutes an attempt to distort facts and mislead public opinion. Pakistan should, rather than attributing its security and political challenges to other countries and linking its internal issues to external factors, focus on identifying and addressing the actual causes of these challenges and fulfilling its responsibilities in this regard.
