The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, delivered an extensive lecture entitled “Foreign Diplomacy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan” to the students of the seventh cohort of the Ministry’s Institute of Diplomacy.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs outlined the fundamental principles of the Islamic Emirate’s foreign policy, the importance of diplomacy, the professional and ethical qualities of diplomats, the protection of national interests, and enhancing relations with neighbouring, regional, and world countries based on mutual respect.
Furthermore, the Minister of Foreign Affairs provided the participants of the course with necessary recommendations regarding reading, pursuing further education, enhancing their professional capabilities, and strengthening their diplomatic skills.
