Yesterday, the Japanese Ambassador Mr. Takashi Okada, called on the Minister of Foreign Affair Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

Mr. Okada said that the stability of overall security in Afghanistan is unprecedented in comparison with last 40 years.

In addition to mentioning other issues, Japanese said that Japan is willing to engage and extend cooperation with Afghanistan in the realms of narcotics ban, education, climate change, water management, historical monuments, health sector and other areas.

Later, FM Muttaqi said that the world should not turn a blind eye to the achievements made in the areas of security, narcotics ban, education, treatment of drug addicts, health services and other areas, rather adopt an approach to move towards positive side.

In the end, engagement and the need of development of cooperation was emphasised.
