During visit to China, Mr. Muttaqi visited a large electricity supply company in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, and held discussions about enhancing cooperation regarding electricity between Afghanistan and China.
He urged the officials of the company to share their experience in the area of electricity with Afghanistan, stressing on the fact that Afghanistan has a lot of potential in the realm of water, wind, solar and coal energy.
Talking about the existing environment for investment in Afghanistan, FM Muttaqi said that suitable investment environment has been provided to foreign investors including China in Afghanistan.
