The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan vehemently condemns the explosion that occurred during Friday prayers at a mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan, which resulted in casualties among many worshippers.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan considers such attacks, which violate the sanctity of mosques & sacred religious rites & target worshippers & civilians, to be in contradiction to Islamic & humanitarian values, &, hence, condemns them in the strongest possible terms.
IEA-MoFA also extends its condolences to the families of the victims & wishes a swift recovery to those injured.
