The two sides described the recent developments in the Middle East as concerning & condemned the aggression by the United States & Israel against Iran, as well as the expansion of the conflict to other countries in the region.
The two sides also discussed the recent situation between Afghanistan & Pakistan.
FM Muttaqi reiterated the position of the Afghan government regarding Pakistan’s aggressions & the reciprocal defensive measures taken by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
In the end, both sides stressed on the importance of choosing the path of diplomacy to address regional challenges & resolving issues through dialogue.
