The newly appointed non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Afghanistan, Mr. Aleksandr Sergeyevich Ogorodnikov, presented a copy of his Letter of Credence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
Wishing the Ambassador success in his new assignment, the Foreign Minister assured him of the Ministry’s full cooperation. He considered the current opportunity important for expanding relations between the two countries and stressed the strengthening of economic cooperation and regional connectivity.
The newly appointed Belarusian Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the Islamic Emirate’s economy-centric policy and pledged to work towards expanding economic and trade relations between the two countries during his tenure.
